Our Homeless Charity Results!

Sutton pupils, staff and parents have been kindly donating items for our homeless charity for over a year now. The result is amazing! We have made 50 hand sewn bags full of essential items to donate to homeless people in the Wolverhampton area.

Wolverhampton Outreach are coming to collect the care bags on Monday 21st November just in time for Christmas.

Each bag contains a range of essential items that will enable homeless individuals to eat, keep clean and stay a little warmer. Some of our pupils have written Christmas cards and personal letters to put into each bag given out.

Sutton school are so proud of this achievement that we have contacted the local newspapers who are in the process of publishing articles about our achievements. I will let you know when they are to be published.

We would like to say a big thank you to some of our local stores for donating items such as ‘Tesco Extra’ in Dudley, ‘Sainsburys’ in Amblecote and ‘Ultimate Outdoors’ in Merry Hill .

I hope you are as proud of your children as I am!

For such a small school, we can celebrate an amazing accomplishment and 50 homeless people will just feel a little better for a little while this winter.
