Today the Seaside Trippers had a fun packed day in Wales.
It was all aboard the train for a one hour journey to the top of Snowdon (rather than 5 hours walking!). A quick walk to the misty summit was followed by ice creams (note the seagull eating the one we dropped).
We arrived in Llanberis and whilst waiting for the train we visited Dolbadarn Castle (a fortification built by the Welsh prince Llywelyn the Great during the early 13th century) and The National Slate Museum.
We returned to our accommodation to get changed and the went to the restaurant. The pupils were complimented for their behaviour and we posted a positive report on Tripadvisor. Upon our return to our accommodation we stopped off at Bangor Garth Pier.
Our Evening Meal..
And as the sun sets on another fun packed day....The rain stopped and as the evening closed the sky was red!
