8.2 have been really busy this term learning about natural disasters. As part of this topic they completed a very exciting STEM activity, exploding a volcano! Pupils worked in pairs to make their volcano model out of paper mache, painted it to look like a real volcano and then took them outside to make them erupt.
We have also been working really hard in Maths learning about multiplication and division. As part of their lesson they had to use division maths problems to help them share sweets equally amongst their cupcakes. The best part of the lesson was getting to eat the cupcakes after!
