Friday 10th July 

As we come to the end of our fantastic residential visit, our final day will include packing up, enjoying breakfast together, taking part in rifle shooting, and then travelling back to school.

It has been an incredible week filled with new experiences, challenges and achievements. Throughout the week, the children have stayed safe, been happy, learnt many new skills and discovered more about themselves. They have shown great resilience, developed their teamwork skills, and grown in confidence and independence. We are extremely proud of everything they have accomplished.

A huge thank you goes to Mrs Plant, Mrs Ketley and Mrs Joesbury, who have worked tirelessly throughout the week to ensure every pupil has had a memorable, enjoyable and rewarding experience. Their dedication, enthusiasm and care have helped make this residential such a success.

Thursday 9th July 

We can't believe it's our last full day already! Time really does fly when you're having fun.

Today has been packed with exciting activities. The children took part in archery and axe throwing, tackled a problem-solving challenge, braved the zip wire, and finished the day with activities around the campfire.

Although it was warm and sunny, we stayed safe in the heat. There was plenty of shade around the centre, and we made good use of the water stations and shaded areas to keep everyone cool and hydrated. Everyone had a fantastic day enjoying the activities while staying safe in the sunshine.

Wednesday 8th July

A peaceful night's sleep has everyone rested and ready for another fun-filled, sun-filled day of adventure!

Today was another fantastic day filled with exciting activities and plenty of fun. Everyone had the opportunity to take part in stand-up paddleboarding, archery tag, Jacob's Ladder, and laser tag. Throughout the day, the team challenged themselves, developed new skills, and built confidence while encouraging and supporting one another.

Tuesday 7th July

We’re pleased to report that everyone had a good, peaceful first night at our residential. The children settled well and had a great night's sleep.

This morning, everyone is up, getting ready for breakfast, and looking forward to fuelling up for another exciting day of activities.

Today has been another exciting day at the activity centre! Pupils have experienced the thrill of the Giant Swing, challenged each other in friendly fencing duels, competed in teams in the Aeroball nets, and shown determination while scaling the climbing tower.

We are now enjoying a range of team games in the beautiful centre grounds, working together, building confidence, and having lots of fun.

 

 

Monday 6th July

We are delighted to let you know that everyone has arrived safely at Boreatton Park PGL!

The group have already set off for their first two exciting activities: abseiling and the trapeze, and they are full of enthusiasm and ready for the adventure ahead.

This evening, we're looking forward to a game of disc golf before settling in for the night.

Throughout the trip, we will continue to live by our school motto: "Safe, Happy, Learning Towards Independence." We know the children will have a fantastic time, challenging themselves, supporting one another, and creating wonderful memories.
